Foster with Slough is Slough Children First’s Independent Fostering Agency (IFA).
Slough Children First is a company wholly-owned by Slough Borough Council providing social care and support services to children, young people and families.
Previously known as Slough Children’s Services Trust when it was set up in 2015 at the direction of the Department for Education, the company become Slough Children First in March 2021 when it came back under the control of the local authority.
Since its creation, Slough Children First has worked at full pace with its partner organisations to make sure that every service working with vulnerable children and families is linked, is better and that we work effectively and efficiently, together.
