Sharing the love

You can read the transcript of the video below.

I’m looking forward most to spending some time with the young people, providing them that security within my home and hopefully being able to have some fun with them and give them some opportunities perhaps they’ve not had before.

I think our first outing will probably be to the pleasure grounds in Runnymede. There’s the park, there’s the river, there’s the cafe, ice-cream van, there’s vast park area, so we can run around and play on the slides and everything else.

I think, for Kev and I, the benefits will be that we’re able to share our love with somebody. I think that we’ll get a lot of personal satisfaction by knowing that we’ve provided a safe and loving environment for somebody and looked after them really well and given them some security for albeit a short period of time.

We have received amazing support from the guys at IFA. Right from the moment I spoke with Karen initially, all the way through on our journey. There’s always been somebody emailing, calling us up. Nothing’s too difficult. We felt part of the family from from day one, so I can’t speak highly enough of the team at IFA. They’re fantastic.
